Zeenat Adamu is the Executive Director of The People’s Project for Social and Climate Justice, where she provides strategic and organizational leadership across the organization’s work on climate justice, gender equality, inclusive development, and emerging social challenges. She leads the organization’s programs, partnerships, operations, and institutional development, working with communities and partners to translate bold ideas into practical solutions that improve lives and strengthen systems.
With over seven years of experience across development programming, project management, finance, and organizational operations, Zeenat brings a strong combination of strategic thinking and execution to her leadership. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with graduate training in International Relations and Diplomacy. Her work is driven by a commitment to building inclusive, accountable, and resilient institutions and ensuring that communities are not simply beneficiaries of development, but active participants in shaping the solutions that affect their lives.
